Ivy Station Construction & Culver City Metro Station Parking Lot Closure
The City is pleased to announce that construction on the Ivy Station Transit Oriented Development Project will begin on February 14, 2017.
Parking Lot Closure and Alternative Parking
Metro’s Culver City Expo Station parking lot (between Washington, National, and Venice Boulevards) will close on February 14, 2017 to make way for project construction. Construction will run through 2019. The last day to park at the lot will be February 13th.
During the construction period, alternative parking will be available at the Ince Parking Garage (9099 Washington Boulevard) in downtown Culver City or at the nearby La Cienega/Jefferson Expo Metro station. Parking fees at the Ince Parking Garage will be $3/day for patrons with a recently used TAP card.
Neighborhood Parking Protection
If your neighborhood wants to implement a residential permit parking district, please call Richard Solis in Culver City Traffic Engineering at (310) 253-5615 or e-mail email@example.com. The City’s permit parking program requires a block-by-block petition to begin proceedings.
Culver CityBus Changes
Culver CityBus will establish two temporary stops adjacent to the Ince parking structure: westbound (on Washington Boulevard, in front of the Toyota dealership) and eastbound (on Washington Boulevard, between Culver Boulevard and Ince Boulevard). Using a TAP card to take Culver CityBus between the Ince Lot and the Culver City Metro Expo Station is considered a transfer.
