CicLAvia 2017

On Sunday March 26, "CicLAvia - Culver City Meets Venice presented by Metro" will remove cars from certain streets in Culver City, Mar Vista and Venice and open them up for people to walk, skate, bike, play, and explore from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CicLAvia is the largest open streets event in the country. It produces temporary car-free days that transform streets into safe spaces for thousands of people to explore the city via non-motorized transport.

Culver City last hosted a CicLAvia event in August 2015. This City-sponsored CicLAvia event is a partnership with the City of Culver City, City of Los Angeles, Metro and CicLAvia, Inc. (a non-profit). It is also one of the official events on the Culver City Centennial Celebration calendar.

Streets along the six-mile CicLAvia route will be closed to cars and open for cyclists, pedestrians, runners and skaters to use as a recreational space. Click/tap the Route Map thumbnail below for a full-size image.
