Housing and Human Services focuses on ensuring the well-being and quality of life of all Culver City residents, both housed and unhoused. Services include housing, homeless, mental health, substance abuse, and crisis intervention. Housing and Human Services is comprised of the following divisions:

The Culver City Housing Authority is responsible for developing, preserving, and administering rent control and tenant protection measures, as well as affordable housing programs and projects for low to moderate income households to ensure that all neighborhoods are quality livable places that are free of blight, where residents feel safe, and can access resources and services. Our mission is to support and enhance the social well-being of the citizens of Culver City and expand affordable housing opportunities for low-and moderate-income families.

During these unprecedented times of housing insecurity, homelessness, mental health crises, and substance abuse challenges, Culver City is working to address these challenges through a holistic services approach. Culver City provides homeless street outreach, Mobile Crisis Team (MCT), and mobile health services as well interim and permanent supportive housing services for our most vulnerable housed and unhoused community.
