The Risk Management Division is responsible for mitigating and managing the City’s exposure to risk. The division achieves this by purchasing insurance to protect its assets, actively managing workers’ compensation claims filed against the City and implementing safety and loss control programs. The City’s liability claims are managed by the City Attorney’s Office. Liability claims against the City must be filed with the City Clerk’s Office on the 1st floor of City Hall. Tenant Users Liability Insurance Program (TULIP) is insurance designed to provide short term liability insurance coverage for tenant users needing insurance in order to rent a facility. Event holders should fill out the online event insurance application.
