Literay Uprising Readers

Literary Uprising Reading | Tuesday, May 9th | 5:00pm to 6:00pm PDT FREE

Come to Antioch University’s Virtual Literary Uprising, hosted by MFA and UGS Teaching Faculty Alistair McCartney! This reading features 5 stellar readers: AULA BA Creative Writing Alum Marcia Bradley (author of the novel The Home for Wayward Girls), Antioch MFA graduating student Grant Chemidlin (author of the poetry collection What We Lost in the Swamp), Women Who Submit and Macondo Writers Workshop member Michelle Otero (author of Vessels: A Memoir of Borders), MFA Alum LaToya Jordan (author of the novella To the Woman in the Pink Hat), and MFA Affiliate Faculty Vandana Khanna (author of the poetry collections Afternoon Masala and Burning Like Her Own Planet).

We’ll be raffling off each of the author’s books! Have a cup of tea or coffee, mocktail or cocktail at home and hear some amazing work!

Sponsored by Antioch MFA in Creative Writing and Antioch LA's Undergraduate Creative Writing Programs and UGS' Two Hawks Quarterly Literary Journal.
