The Final General Plan, Zoning Code, and Program Environmental Impact Report (EIR) are now available for review. All documents are available to view on the Advanced Planning division webpage and the Picture Culver City website. The General Plan is the City’s primary guide for land use and development decisions. The Zoning Code divides the City into zoning districts and regulates development standards and procedures to implement the General Plan. The EIR informs decision-makers and the public about potential environmental effects of a proposed project.

“The Final General Plan and Zoning Code documents, and subsequent meetings, give a better understanding of the long-range planning goals for the City and the future land use regulations to make that future a reality,” said Mark Muenzer, Culver City’s Planning and Development Director. “Thousands of hours of research and community outreach helped develop these final documents. We encourage everyone to review the final plan and zoning code and join us at the meetings in August.”

Final Hearing Dates:

  • August 14: General Plan, Environmental Impact Report, and Zoning Code Ordinance at Planning Commission
  • August 26: General Plan, Environmental Impact Report, and First Reading of the Zoning Code Ordinance at City Council
