Gwynn Murrill is a sculptor whose subject matter focuses on animals. Cougars I and II are part of a series, and two of the first pieces of artwork acquired by the City of Culver City after the inception of the public art program in 1988.
Gwynn Murrill is a sculptor who lives and works in Los Angeles. Ms. Murrill's work is in the collection of the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena as well as corporate and private collections. She has completed several public art commissions for the City of Los Angeles (California Cougars, 1990; Angel, 1990; and, Coyotes, 1993) and the City of Santa Monica (The Cat, 1988).
