Illumination is a sustainable artwork that combines sculpture, landscape, solar power, and light. According to the artist, the basis behind this "Carbon Conscious" work is "the harnessing of the beautiful quality of light in Southern California as a synthesis of artistic expression and self-sustainability."

The artwork consists of seven 22' tall light sculptures that define the entrance drive into Symantec Corporation's new campus in Culver City. The light sculptures are fabricated from translucent white marble with steel supports and powered entirely by solar energy. The artist's concept references natural elements (light and stone), sustainability (photovoltaic panels), Symantec's forward-looking corporate identity, and ancient Greek and Roman architecture.

Texas based sculptor Brad Goldberg has an artistic career that spans more than 25 years and includes installations in the United States, Japan, and Europe. He specializes in stone sculpture and is also trained in landscape architecture.
