Magnetic Field I explores the idea of self-organizing structure within a gravitational energy field. Local geometric relationships are organized into fields of pattern that can be experienced as a whole as one moves though the site forming a sense of place. This façade consists of an assembly of folded metal structural elements that are organized into three-dimensional visual fields. The artwork marks the southwest portion of the site and provides a visual connection between the various buildings.
