With a whimsical display of colors, this is one of two sculptures by Brad Howe located in the entry and interior courtyard of the building. Each is intended to resemble animals and symbolize moments of joy. The courtyard sculpture, Ode to Friendship, is composed of symbols, including a heart and rainbow, designed to evoke a sense of optimism.
Brad Howe is a Los Angeles based sculptor who has completed public art commissions for the City of Montebello and the City of Santa Fe Springs. His work is also included in many corporate and private art collections.
