Water Tower

Water Tower

Water Tower is a sculpture fabricated from industrial and earth-based materials. The sculpture features a ball, column, and parapet (a low protecting wall) -- representing strength and the earth. The artist designed the column so that water projects upwards, giving the illusion that the ball is floating in a pool of water.

John Okulik's other public art commissions in Culver City include, Street Eyes (2001) and Sentry (1999). He has also completed Three Moons (1993) for the City of Pasadena, and Vents (1990) for the City of Los Angeles.
