Updated Notice of Pending Administrative Decision
The Current Planning Division is pleased to invite your participation in an Administrative Decision concerning:
WHO: Tut’s Egyptian Cuisine (Applicant)
WHAT: Proposed Administrative Use Permit to allow a 660 square-foot outdoor dining area on private property and alcoholic beverage sales ancillary to a restaurant use (Tut’s Egyptian Cuisine). This public notice revises a previous public notice to incorporate the added request for alcoholic beverage sales as part of the project.

WHERE: Project Location: 12114 -12116 Washington Boulevard
WHY: The Culver City Municipal Code requires a 15-day public review period for administrative decisions, during which time the Planning Division solicits comments from the public. An Administrative Decision will be made following the conclusion of the public review period.
WHEN: Public Comment Period: Monday, July 29, 2024, through Monday, August 12, 2024.
CEQA: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, initial review of the application and plans by staff established there are no potentially significant adverse impacts upon the environment and the proposed project is Categorically Exempt pursuant to CEQA Section 15303, Class 3 – New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures, because the proposed project includes construction of appurtenant structures including a fence and patio cover, and new outdoor dining facilities with small furniture. Further, the proposed project is Categorically Exempt pursuant to CEQA Section 15301, Class 1 – Existing Facilities, because the proposed sale of alcoholic beverages involves no expansion of an existing restaurant use.
