Notice of  Pending Administrative Decision

The Current Planning Division is pleased to invite your participation in an Administrative Decision concerning:

WHO:        Icon & Ikon (Applicant) and Madison Residents, LLC (Property Owner)

WHAT:     Consideration of an Administrative Site Plan Review for a proposed housing project consisting of demolition of three existing residential units, and construction of eight rental units and two detached Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) across two lots that will be combined as a single parcel. The project proposes subterranean parking with private garages for 15 spaces and two guest spaces.

WHERE:   Project Location:   4069 and 4073 Madison Avenue

WHY:        The Culver City Municipal Code requires a 15-day public review period for administrative decisions, during which time the Planning Division solicits comments from the public.  An Administrative Decision will be made following the conclusion of the public review period.

WHEN:     Public Comment Period: Wednesday, September 18, 2024, through Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

CEQA:       Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, initial review of the application and plans by staff established there are no potentially significant adverse impacts upon the environment and the proposed project is Categorically Exempt pursuant to CEQA Section 15332, Class 32 – In-Fill Development Project, because the proposed project is consistent with the General Plan and Zoning; the project is within city limits on a 0.31-acre site surrounded by urban uses; the site has no value as a habitat for endangered, rare, or threatened species; the project will not have significant traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality impacts; and the project can be served by utilities and public services.
