AB 1826
In October 2014, Governor Brown signed AB 1826 Chesbro (Chapter 727, Statutes of 2014), a landmark legislation aimed at reducing organic waste in landfills. This law requires businesses and multifamily residential dwellings to take action by diverting their organic waste. If your business or multifamily dwelling generates 2 cubic yards of organic waste per week, you're required to subscribe to an organics diversion program. AB 341
