Residential and commercial properties are required to have trash, recycling and organics service which is provided by the City of Culver City's Public Works Environmental Programs and Operations (EPO) Division.

Empty Glass, Aluminum & Metal, Plastics (1-5), Beverage & Soup Boxes, Clean Paper & Cardboard.

Tips

  • Recycled materials would preferably not be bagged.
  • If there is a need for bags, use paper.
  • All cardboard should be flattened.

CRV - Take Back Program

SoCal Recycling has been selected by Culver City to participate in a first of its kind mobile recycling program. The SoCal Recycling mobile recycling center will be available in different locations throughout Culver City on different days, making it easier for the community to recycle and redeem their CRV recyclable materials.

Allowed Recyclables

Recyclables include the following items packaged in aluminum, glass, plastic, or bimetal beverage containers. For redemption please ensure containers are empty.

  • Carbonated Fruit Drinks
  • Non-Carbonated Fruit Drinks       
  • Carbonated Water                                             
  • Coffee & Tea Beverages

  • Vegetable Juice (16 oz. and under)
  • "Sport" Drinks

Weight Limit

Daily load limits are 25 pounds of aluminum, 25 pounds of plastic and 100 pounds of glass per vehicle

*This recycler will discount the refund value, and may discount scrap value for loads of containers that include non-redemption material. *The consumer has the right to:

a) Accept a discounted refund and/or scrap price.

b) Separate refund from non-refund material.
