Welcome to the Culver City Homeless Outreach Request page. If you observe individuals experiencing homelessness who may need assistance, please use the form linked below to notify our Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) and Leading Outreach with Valued Engagement (LOVE) team. Your reports enable us to offer timely support and services to those in need.

Step 1.Submit Your Request 

Access our online portal to submit your Homeless Outreach Request. Providing detailed information enhances our ability to respond effectively. After submission, check your email for a confirmation and updates on the status of your request. 

Anonymous Requests: You may submit requests without providing personal contact information. However, including an email address allows us to follow up if additional details are needed and to inform you about the outcome of your report.

Step 2.Review and Dispatch 

Our team will review your request and distribute it to the appropriate department(s). Staff may contact you for further information if necessary. You may receive notifications regarding any updates or actions taken.

Step 3.Response Time

We aim to respond promptly to all requests. Response times may vary based on the nature of the report and resource availability. It should take no more than 48 hours for a response. For urgent situations, please contact the appropriate emergency services.

If you encounter someone who is unhoused and may benefit from services, you can help by contacting the appropriate resources based on the time and day.

Step 2.Weekday Submissions (Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM)

In your message, please include the following details to help our outreach team respond effectively:

  • Location (address and time of the encounter)
  • Why you believe the person may need services
  • Physical and behavioral description (e.g., hair color, eye color, clothing, any mental health concerns)

Please provide as much specific information as you can, such as the exact location (i.e. addresses or landmarks), time of observation, and a description of the unhoused person, encampment, vehicle, etc. This detailed information helps our team assess and respond appropriately.

 

Can I remain anonymous?

Yes, you can submit requests anonymously. However, providing contact information allows us to follow up for additional details, if necessary, and to inform you about the outcome.

How soon will the Mobile Crisis Team respond?

Response times usually within 24-48hrs of the initial request. However, response times may vary depending on the specifics of the situation and resource availability. We strive to address all requests promptly. For emergencies, please contact 911 immediately. 

Is there a cost associated with submitting a request?

No, submitting a Homeless Outreach Request is free of charge.
